​Sylvia Kwong

Sylvia is a dedicated paediatric occupational therapist with over 10 years of experience in acute hospital and outpatient clinic, specialised in paediatric services. She has worked extensively with children facing a variety of challenges including high-risk infants, developmental delays, cerebral palsy, Down's syndrome as well as neurodivergent cases.

With a strong interest in early intervention, feeding therapy, and sensory integration, Sylvia is committed to providing tailored therapeutic approaches to promoting the well-being and development of her clients. She currently works at the Royal Children's Hospital in the Chronic Pain Management Clinic, collaborating within a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.

An advocate for continuous professional education, Sylvia actively engages in ongoing learning opportunities and is a member of Occupational Therapy Australia and the National Association for Neonatal herapists (NANT). She believes in the power of family-centered care and works closely within families to empower them with the knowledge and skills needed to support their child's development.

Outside of work, Sylvia enjoys baking, embroidery and crocheting.
