Play Therapy

Playing with Wooden Toys

Play Therapy assists children and families in tackling a variety of challenges and promoting overall well-being. Typically tailored for children between the ages of 3 and 12, Play Therapy offers them the chance to discover themselves, express their emotions, and navigate through confusing or distressing situations using their natural inclination towards play. Unlike adults who rely on verbal communication to work through issues, children use play as a means to process their thoughts, emotions, and experiences.

At its core, Play Therapy centres around assisting children in expressing themselves and understanding their surroundings in the most organic manner possible—through play. By providing a safe haven for exploration, self-expression, and emotional processing, Play Therapy empowers children to navigate complex emotions and challenging experiences. Through engagement in Play Therapy, both children and their families can find the necessary support to overcome a wide array of challenges, be they social, emotional, or behavioural in nature.
