Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Music, Hong Kong Baptist University.
Rachel is registered with the Australian Music Therapy Association (AMTA). She has worked in Monash Children's Hospital (mainly in the general paediatric and oncology ward). Prior to her music therapy training, Rachel served as a piano teacher and music teacher trainee in Hong Kong, where she facilitated various music group sessions for children at a music therapy center.
Rachel is interested in working with individuals of all ages, although she particularly enjoys working with children. She is passionate about providing positive support tailored to each individual's pace. Rachel employs a variety of music therapy approaches, including humanistic and strength-based approaches, based on the specific needs of the participants.
In her downtime, Rachel dances, practices Pilates, plays music, crafts, and writes calligraphy.
